CITY OF FAYETTE - PUBLIC NOTICES

YARD WASTE SITE CLOSES

The last day the Fayette Yard Waste Site will be open is Saturday, November 13, 2021.  After 11/13/21, the site will be closed for the winter and the City of Fayette will notify the citizens when it reopens in the spring. The Yard Waste Site is open on Wednesdays from 2PM-4PM and on Saturdays from 8AM-10AM for disposing of branches, sticks, leaves and other yard waste. Yard waste may also be burned but burning of trash is prohibited.  You may check-out the key to the Yard Waste Site at Fayette City Hall during office hours with a $5 deposit. TENTATIVE LAST DAY OF LEAF PICK-UP

The tentative last day the Fayette Public Works employees will pick up leaves is Monday, November 15, 2021. If the city receives any snow prior to 11/15/21, then the leaf pick up will end immediately. Currently the Fayette Public Works Department is picking up leaves on Mondays (weather permitting). If they are unable to get to all the houses on Monday, then they will pick up leaves at the houses they missed on Tuesday. Residents should place raked leaves on the City parkway or right-of-way between the sidewalk and the back of the curb.  If you don’t have a curb, then place on the grassy area near the street.

Please do not place leaves in the street.

No tree branches, sticks or garbage should be mixed with the leaves
