NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

CITY OF FAYETTE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT

You are hereby notified that on Thursday, March 15, 2018 at 7PM in Fayette City Hall, the Fayette Board of Adjustment will hold a public hearing to elicit input and responses relating to the requests from Jeremy Mueller, the Fayette County Food Shelf and Jeff Potratz. Mueller is requesting a variance to the minimum yard requirements in Chapter 165.05(5)A to add on to an existing building, including a lean to roof, at 204 Old HWY 150 North. The addition planned will be built right up to his side yard property line, with a drip edge hanging over his property line. The Board will decide on the exception from the minimum 6 feet plus 2 feet per story of height beyond the first story side yard requirement. The Fayette County Food Shelf is requesting a variance to the minimum yard requirements in Chapter 165.06(5)C to add on to their existing building at 107 E. Water St. The addition planned will leave approximately an 11-foot rear yard. The Board will decide on the exception from the 20 feet rear yard requirement between the commercial building and the boundary of the adjacent R-1 (Residential) District. Potratz is requesting a variance to the minimum yard requirements in Chapter 165.05(5)A to construct a garage at 509 Franklin St. The planned garage will leave approximately a 2-foot side yard and 15-foot rear yard. The Board will decide on the exception from the minimum 6 feet plus 2 feet per story of height beyond the first story side yard and the minimum 30 feet rear yard requirements.

If you so desire, you may appear, either in person or by agent or attorney, in support of or in opposition to the special exception or variance to the ordinance.
